Republic Day celebrations in Maputo (26 Jan 2025)

Republic Day celebrations was held at the High Commission of India premises in Maputo. About 350 Indian nationals and friends of India attended the event including representatives of Indian communities who travelled from Xai Xai, Matola, Tete and Beira.

The Unfurling of the National Flag was followed by singing of the National Anthem, reading of the Hon'ble President’s address to the nation, cultural programme and distribution of prizes for Know India Quiz competition.

Republic Day celebrations were held in different cities in Mozambique - Maputo, Xai Xai, Beira, Tete, Nampula, Nacala and Pemba.
