Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is organizing an international conference “Leveraging the Soft Power of India – Goodwill through Craft, Cuisine and Creativity”, jointly with Ministry of External Affairs and Antar Rashtriya Sahyog Parishad (ARSP) on 16 October 2021 in virtual mode, in two segments i.e. Eastern segment (1100 -1230) and Western segment (1900 – 2030). Both Programme schedules are programme schedule Eastern segment and programme schedule Western segment.
2. The Conference would deliberate Craft, Cuisine and Creativity being important components of India’s soft power and how they can be better leveraged, especially through the Indian diaspora abroad. The Conference would also look at how these sectors have been affected by the pandemic and what can be done to reintegrate and rejuvenate them, including through possible policy measures.
