National Day Reception in Maputo (15 Aug 2024)

High Commission hosted Reception on the occasion of India’s 78th Independence Day. H.E. Mr. Carlos F. Mesquita, Hon’ble Minister of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources graced the event as the Chief Guest. He commended the strong bilateral relations between Mozambique and India. High Commissioner mentioned that due to historical, trade, cultural links, we have a large presence of Indian community (PIOs and Indian nationals) in Mozambique and thanked the people of Mozambique for accepting us as their own.
